Anyone who downloaded the file from me via torrent will most likely have the same issues if my files were corrupt. :(

**Update: Something I just thought of. When the new .torrent file was made was the directory it creates renamed so that the old bad torrent and any files downloaded up to that point were not mixed together? If so, everyone who downloaded this dvd could have screwed up files.

I've had the same problem....ended up deleting it, and have started downloading it for a second time...

What is the error that people are getting when they burn it to disk? Does the disk fail to be written? Or once written, it can't be played on your standalone DVD player?

The new torrent/old torrent shouldn't be the cause of the problem.

The only change between the torrents was the removal of a superfluous .txt file. If you have a .txt file in your VIDEO_TS folder, remove it.

When I set up Nero to burn the video, it gave me a warning message saying that it may have errors and might not be playable after burning. I burned it anyway, and it wouldn't work on my computer DVD drive, or TV top DVD player...(I never checked the VIDEO_TS folder for a .txt file though...)

Were you able to watch the DVD on your computer before burning it?

I had the same problem, and I was able to watch it on my computer first.

Didn't try playing it from the files, only the DVD

I'm getting the same error. There is no .txt file in the VIDEO folder.

Is there any word on what's going to be done to remedy this problem? Looks like a lot of people downloaded/shared a bad version. I'd suggest making a new .torrent file with a new directory name so we don't get a repeat of what happened this time.

I just burned it, and it plays fine on my computer DVD player; but only the first two songs play on my standalone player.

Scooby...

I think that there's a problem here,
my disc just won't play right...

...See, when it starts to fall apart
Man, it really falls apart

We've heard many people who have had problems burning, but I'm wondering if there are people who had made successful burns of this DVD? On the tracker, a suggestion was made to use copytoDVD to burn this show, and not Nero...I'm not familiar with the program, but I'll give it a shot.

If a re-release is planned, I'll stop downloading (2nd time)

Cheers!

.... you didn't use a MAC to create the DVD :-) That's what went wrong.

.... OK seriously most likely the DVD Decrypter part is the problem. Normally you should be able to capture your video using Vegas. Then author with DVD workshop. You should then be able to export to compliant DVD files within Workshop. I haven't used these programs in a long time so I'm going by memory. I used to author DVDs with Premiere, Cinemacraft Encoder SP and Sonic Scenerist.
