Still picking up the elderly from the floor, still dealing with the drunks, now wrestling seals and posting it on twitter.. @richardilderton

I've finally gotten my act together and booked trains/accommodation for this show. Really glad they're still doing the 'Evening with...' style format. Should be great!

I'd be up for a pre-show meeting I think. My train gets in at noon, so once I check into my B&B, I just plan on wandering around for a bit, checking things out.

I'm not getting into Manchester until about 5:30, but I'll try and swing by if I've got time. I assume it's near the venue?

Arrived in Manchester and checked into the hostel. Having a quick cuppa before catching a bus to the venue.

Being in a hostel makes it feel like a proper Hip tour now. ;)

33rd show, and that was THE.BEST.HIP.SHOW.I.HAVE.EVER.SEEN.

Holy crap. I always say, its not the set list that makes a show for me, its the way they play those songs. Well, standing at the stage in a tiny, tiny venue, where I'm so close, that I actually have to lean back to get both Sinclair and Robbie in a frame, watching them all perform, makes the show for me.

That was incredible.

Got Robbie's set list, and hung around with Andy and Ben and others to wait for the guys. Got to finally thank the boys for doing what they do.

Ahhhhh, I can end this tour on a great note. That was f'in incredible.

From the setlist:

1. Love
2. Courage
3. View
4. ABAC
5. Gift
6. Moon
7. Ocean
8. Coffee
9. Poets
10. Fully
11. Suite
*end*
1. Thompson Girl (a)
2. Recluse (a)
3. Scared (a)
4. Grace
5. Bobc
6. Nautical
7. Escape
8. Meridian
9. Struggle
10. Family
11. Music
*end*
1. Frozen
2. New O. (changed from original set - was first Blow)
