Hey Gang,

First time poster, long time lurker.

OK so WBUF in Buffalo is "Welcoming" the Hip to Darien Lake. Even gave away tickets when they went on sale...but here's the rub...they never play the Hip!!

You MAY hear Courage during their "Rockin the 80s" weekend, which seems to be every other weekend. But they'll play Kid Rock's new song :nooooo

They play the Hip as often they play any recent Rush songs, only Tom Sawyer or Freewill. (Sorry, Rush is my fav) I even emailed them asking for more Hip and more Rush from after 1992.

The only redeeming factors are Howard Stern in the morning and they are NOT 97 Rock, the Lynard Skynard / Supertramp station!

Welcome aboard! Ya know, I've noticed it's "80's weekend" practically every weekend on Buffalo radio too... Somebody over there REALLY loves their JBJ. "I'm a Cowboy!"

Our radio stations suck here.(Buffalo area). :x Barely listen to them anymore

Eh, at least we have 97.7 HTZ from St. Catherines....that's about the ONLY redeeming quality of Buffalo radio, and every once in a great while, we can get 102.1 from Toronto.
