I wish this thread actually provided a link to the full version of the song... This thread is now as equally useless as the other five on the same topic, asking the same question.

Taken from the FAQ on hipbase:

From: Tales from the Hip, Winter 94-95 No.1: "Well, the only full copy was given to our friends in the mighty Rush. So unless you can give them a call and ask to borrow it, it won't be available."

Ever since I heard that clip from back in 93 or so, I wished that The Hip would undertake a "various artisits" tribute album to Rush. There are a lot of musicians out there that would jump on it, both Canadian and International! I remeber when I went to see Audioslave a few years back in Toronto, they did a killer version of Working Man!

Of course The Hip would have dibs on Limelight!

From the canoe.ca chat this afternoon:
I saw a short snippet of you guys covering Rush's Limelight - any chance we can see/hear the whole version?

Rob Baker The complete performance of us doing Limelight is available on Rush's Replay DVD. It seems like it fades out at the guitar solo but that is because it did. The whole thing came off the rails when we hit that section as there was no way I could do a credible Alex Lifeson
So now we need to find a copy of Rush's Replay DVD!
